Foxtrot - In 1913, Harry Fox trotted his way on stage. Little did Harry know hi, “trotting” would be an ovenight success! The Foxtrot is known for its ease of movement and smooth style. The very basic of this step is usually, “walk, walk, side-together, walk, walk”. If you can walk, you can surely dance the Foxtrot! It is known as the easiest dances to learn in the American Style.

Peabody - A faster version of the Foxtrot. Peabody usually incorporates some steps from both Foxtrot and Quickstep.

Tango - American Tango is progressive, moving along the line of dance using body movements. Mostly a staccato movement of the feet and flexed knees.

Waltz - The Waltz was a fashionable dance in Bohemia, Austria, Bavaria, and in other parts in Europe in the late 1700’s. Danced in 3/4 timing. The music is a recurring, even-beat tempo that sends the dancers in a whirl on the floor.

Viennese Waltz - This dance was originated in Mid-Europe about 400 years ago. The music is fast paced and sends dancers whirling around the floor - first one way and then another.
